# HTML presentations, created with the help of AI
> An HTML presentation editor for teachers, supported by an AI assistant. Free and open source, for macOS, Windows and Linux.
An app for creating lessons and presentations as HTML pages. The teacher edits the slides directly on screen and delegates creation and formatting to the AI assistant. The result is a single file that opens in any browser, even offline.
MIT License. macOS, Windows and Linux. Installers: [GitHub releases](https://github.com/mgarlabx/edukors_slides_editor/releases/latest).
## From draft to classroom
- **Direct editing on the slide**: Text, images and boxes are selected, moved and resized right on screen, with alignment guides and undo for every gesture.
- **AI assistant**: A side panel talks with the assistant, which creates and formats slides, searches the web and asks when something is unclear. Every change can be undone.
- **A single HTML file**: The exported presentation is a single file, with images, fonts and animations embedded, that works offline in any modern browser.
- **Presentation tools**: Pen, highlighter, magnifier, infinite whiteboard, presenter view and full screen, already included in the exported HTML.
- **Interactive questions**: Multiple choice, word cloud and open answer. Students respond from their phones by scanning a QR code, and the results appear in charts.
- **Bases, layouts and templates**: A slide master with visual bases and shared layouts. Any presentation can become a template for the next ones.
- **PDF and PPTX**: Besides HTML, the presentation can be exported as PDF and PPTX, with one image per slide, for printing and sharing.
- **Privacy**: The app collects no data and has no telemetry. Presentations stay on the computer, in .esf files.
## With the AI account the teacher already uses
The assistant works with the command-line tools already installed on the computer: Claude Code, Codex, Kimi, Kiro, OpenCode or Antigravity. The app stores no credentials; authentication stays with the tool itself. The assistant only reads and writes in the presentation’s folder.
## Free to use, adapt and contribute
The code of the app and of the interactive questions server is on GitHub, under the MIT license. Any school can host its own questions server.
